INTELLIGENT MULTI AGENT SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING PERSONALIZED SERVICE AND METHOD THEREOF

An intelligent multi-agent system and a method for providing a personalized service are provided to automatically offer a service corresponding to propensity of a user to a user mobile terminal without user interruption when a user enters a service domain by enabling an agent to monitor profile information storing interests of the user. A user agent(100) reports context and the interests of the user according to mobility of the user, and receives/implements the personalized service based on the context/interest information. Each service agent(300) controls operation of a physical device providing the personalized service to the user agent. A control agent(200) plans the personalized service and transfers a plan to the corresponding service agent by referring to registration information of each service agent based on the context/interest information of the user. The user agent includes a monitor periodically monitoring the context/interest information of the user, a profile manager, a user mobility detector detecting entry into the service domain(1) according to movement of the user, and a profile negotiator.
