Provided is a hydrocarbon solvent composition, which is remarkably reduced in normal hexane and aromatic components and is effective in preventing a worker from being exposed to harmful organic materials. The hydrocarbon solvent composition comprises a C6-7 hydrocarbon mixture consisting of 10-70 parts by weight of paraffin, 25-85 parts by weight of a naphthenic compound, at most 1.0 part by weight of normal hexane, and at most 0.1 parts by weight of an aromatic compound based on 100 parts by weight of the hydrocarbon solvent composition. The hydrocarbon solvent composition has the distillation ranges of an initial boiling point above 60°C, a drying boiling point below 105°C, and an aniline point below 70°C.
