LASER GALSS CUTTING APPARATUS WITH BEAM DUMP

A laser glass cutting apparatus equipped with a beam dump and a heliographic plate is provided to absorb laser beam penetrated through a glass panel and to reduce diffused reflection of the laser beam by arranging the heliographic plate on top of the glass panel and the beam dump on bottom of the glass panel. The apparatus comprises: a laser emission device(10) to emit laser beam to a glass panel; a top heliographic plate(20) that is mounted on the laser emission device to reflect again the laser beam reflected from the glass panel; and a beam dump(40) that is arranged at a lower portion of the glass panel to absorb the laser beam penetrated through the glass panel. The apparatus further has a cooling nozzle(50) at the rear side of the laser emission device or the beam dump to quench the glass panel to which the laser beam is emitted. Additionally, the beam dump is equipped with a cooling line(45) for passing the water.
