An air cleaner using water is provided to maximize the air cleaning effect by forcibly contacting water with contaminated air in a room, thereby cleaning contaminated air, and make it not necessary to replace the filter by using water instead of a filter that is required to be replaced regularly. An air cleaner using water comprises: a body(1) in which a water tank(6) for containing water is embedded; a sleeve body(8) which is easily disassembled from the body and assembled with the body, and comprises a sleeve(9) and a supporting plate(10) with a plurality of suction holes(11); a floater(14) which is installed under the sleeve body, has a float function, and exhausts cleaned air; a flexible tube(13) connected between the sleeve body and the floater and formed in the zigzag corrugated form; an air suction fan(20) installed at an inner side of the sleeve body and rotated by a motor(17) to suck contaminated air; a water spray(23) installed at an inner side of the sleeve body and the flexible tube and rotated by the motor to raise and spray water; and a cleaned air exhaust port(38) formed at one side at an upper side of the sleeve body to exhaust cleaned air.
