PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight vibration control device of excellent work efficiency easily coping with an opening with an optional vertical dimension. SOLUTION: The vibration control device comprises a frame 1 and a vibration control damper 2. The vibration control damper has a damper holding plate 13, a displacement amplifying plate 11 and diagonal members. Four diagonal members 12a, 12b, 12a, 12b with one ends rotatably fitted to an upper frame and with the other ends rotatably fitted to the damper holding plate are arranged almost in W-shape between the upper frame and the damper holding plate, and four diagonal members 12c, 12d, 12c, 12d with one ends rotatably fitted to an intermediate lateral frame and with the other ends rotatably fitted to the damper holding plate are arranged almost in inverted W-shape between the intermediate lateral frame and the damper holding plate. The upper end of the displacement amplifying plate is connected to the lateral direction center part of the damper holding plate, and a lateral center part of a vertical intermediate part of the displacement amplifying plate is rotatably fitted to the lateral center part of the intermediate lateral frame. Vibration control rubber 15 is provided between the damper holding plate and the displacement amplifying plate, and two diagonal members 12e, 12e are erected in inverted V-shape between the lower part of the displacement amplifying plate and a lower frame.
