PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock unit which enables two locks to be easily constituted by using a lock box and a cylinder lock, already mounted in a door. SOLUTION: This lock unit comprises: a unit body 2 which is mounted on the indoor side surface of the door 1; an engaging member 3 which is held in the unit body so as to be turnable; and an interlocking mechanism 8 which is arranged in the unit body. The engaging member comprises an engaging protrusion 3a which protrudes to a door side from the unit body, and an engaging recess 3c which faces an indoor side from an opening 4 formed at the indoor side surface of the unit body; the engaging protrusion is engaged with a thumb-turn engaging hole 9 of the lock box 6 mounted in the door so as to be connected to the cylinder lock 23 provided on the outdoor side surface of the door in such a manner as to be freely interlocked with the cylinder lock 23; and the engaging recess is engaged with a thumb-turn 7 capable of being freely engaged with the thumb-turn engaging hole. The interlocking mechanism transfers the rotational motion of the engaging member to the other lock 10 which is provided separately from the cylinder lock which is connected in a freely interlocked manner by the engaging protrusion, and makes the other lock opened and closed by operations of the cylinder lock 23 and the thumb-turn 7.
