<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold-cathode array and a cold-cathode display using the same capable of obtaining high electron emission efficiency by converging electron beam with simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The cold-cathode display 10 has the cold-cathode array 20 and an anode substrate 30. The cold-cathode array 20 is provided with a cathode electrode 22 formed on the rear substrate 21, an insulating layer 23 formed on the cathode electrode 22, a gate electrode 24 formed on the insulating layer 23, and a focus electrode 25 formed on the insulating layer 23 in parallel with the gate electrode 24. The anode substrate 30 is provided with an anode electrode 32 which has been formed on the front substrate 31 and which captures electrons, and with a phosphor 33 which has been formed on the anode electrode 32 and which emits light by collision of the electrons. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
