RED COLORING COMPOSITION AND COLOR FILTER FOR ILLUMINANCE SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter suitable for color filters used for illuminance sensors, excellent in color reproductivity and having good sensitivity.

SOLUTION: The red coloring composition has spectral properties in which spectral transmittance in 610 nm wavelength in a coated film is ≥45% and ≤55% and spectral transmittance in 650 nm wavelength in the coated film is ≥75% and ≤90% and spectral transmittance in 680 nm wavelength in the coated film is ≥90% and maximum value of spectral transmittance in 400 nm-560 nm wavelength is ≤10% when forming the coated film so that the spectral transmittance in 580 nm wavelength becomes ≤7%. The color filter is formed of the red coloring composition.
