<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner replenishing and recovering mechanism easily exchanging new toner and waste toner without an expensive sensor or a complicated control. <P>SOLUTION: The toner replenishing and recovering mechanism for an electrophotographic image forming device using a plurality of colors of toners is provided with; a waste toner buffer storing means to accumulate untransferred toner in an electrophotographic image forming process in one spot, a plurality of recovered toner transporting means to transport the recovered toner from a drum cleaner to a waste toner buffer storing means, and a recovered toner distributing means to distribute the toner accumulated in the waste toner buffer storing means according to the replenished ratio of the new toner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
