PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the work efficiency when taking out a garbage bag from a garbage can which internally arranges the garbage bag. SOLUTION: The garbage can comprises a cylindrical side wall part 11 with both ends thereof opened, and a holding part 12 which is constituted of a part of the side wall part 11 and can be held by a user. When a garbage bag 20 is fixed to the side wall part 11, the garbage bag 20 is arranged inside the side wall part 11, an opening end of the garbage bag 20 is returned to the face side of the side wall part 11 on one end side of the side wall part 11. The holding part 12 is arranged between the holding part 12 and the side wall part 11 while the holding part is opened outwardly from the side wall part 11. The holding part 12 is returned to the same surface as the side wall part 11.
