METHOD OF PROVIDING DRM INTEROPERATIBILITY AND AD-HOC NETWORK DEVICE USING THE SAME

A method of providing DRM(Digital Right Management) inter-operatability and an ad-hoc network device using the same are provided to freely share contents within the limit of a right even in case of disconnection with a service provider. A method of providing DRM inter-operatibility includes the steps of: requesting a source device to transmit receivable contents on an ad-hoc network by a sink device(S220); providing DRM information for the requested contents by the source device(S250); determining whether downloading of a DRM module is required or not based on the DRM information by the sink device(S260); and setting DRM processing for the requested contents by downloading the DRM module from the source device if the downloading is required(S270).
