<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for measuring and setting a 2G neighbor wrongly set in user's equipment in a 3G neighbor. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises an operation and maintenance center comprising a measurement information unit and a setting unit, a radio network controller comprising a measurement control unit, and a data resister. The method contains steps of: setting parameters and measuring the 2G neighbor in 3G cells in accordance with the parameters; generating a 2G neighbor list to be measured and delivering the 2G neighbor list to be measured to the user's equipment for measurement; and receiving a report of measurement information on the 2G neighbor from the user's equipment; and if a piece of the reported measurement information of the 2G neighbor to be measured satisfies conditions of wrong setting, adding one to the list of the 2G neighbor wrongly set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
