The device has a lifting cabin with a door (6) including a plastic plane that is movable in a horizontal direction or a vertical direction, where an end area of the plane is fastened at a shaft (8). The plane is rolled up at the shaft, when the door is opened, and the plane is rolled away from the shaft, when the door is closed. The shaft is supported in a housing (7), and rotatable within the housing, where the housing is firmly connected with a cover of the cabin. An independent claim is also included for a cabin door device of a lifting device.
