<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag for use in a microwave oven which is not peeled by the pressure or an impact applied thereto during the transport or storage, not burst even when the bag is heated in the microwave oven with contents packaged, and the packaging bag left self-standing, capable of automatically dropping the internal pressure, preventing any liquid or viscous substance such as sauce as the content from blown off outside the bag, and discharging only steam outside the bag. <P>SOLUTION: In the packaging bag 1 for use in the microwave oven, a U-shaped seal part 9 is connected to a peripheral edge seal part 5. At least one cut 17 or one cutout 18 is formed in a non-sealed part 19 surrounded by the U-shaped seal part 9.
