PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in updating of software, in a system having a plurality of processing units. SOLUTION: A system management section 22 in a main unit 20 holds system information for identifying a processing unit configuration of an onboard system 1. An update processing section 23 refers to update information that is managed for each system configuration by an application update server 2, and determines whether or not update is necessary for its own system.
