PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-nitrogen steel which solves such problems that the long time to addition of nitrogen into molten steel is needed and the additional material is high price. SOLUTION: The method comprises blowing high-temperature nitrogen gas or high-temperature mixed gas of the nitrogen gas and inert gas into the molten steel in its refining process.
