The invention relates to a device for producing hydrogen by electrolysis. The device includes a disc structure (120) with an annular electrolysis chamber at the periphery. The electrolysis chamber includes first (105) and second (106) circular electrodes. The electrodes are arranged parallel around the periphery of the disc structure. The disc structure is rotated, whereupon the electrolysis is performed under high G conditions. Gases produced in an annular electrolysis chamber are forcefully separated from the electrolyte. The electrolysis may also be performed under supercritical conditions, with hydrocarbons, whereupon its efficiency is increased. |
