<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formatter drive clock generating method of a formatter apparatus generating and outputting exposure pit information by which stable pit or track groove shape forming can be performed in a CLV drive state, a formatter drive command pulse column generating method, an original optical disk exposing apparatus, and an optical recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: In the formatter drive clock generating method, the format drive clock being a basic clock column of information track generation is generated by the following formula: 2×π×R<SB>0</SB>/(Nf×VL)+(2×j-1)×π×P/(Nf<SP>2</SP>×VL) (where R<SB>0</SB>: exposure start radial position Nf: the number of format drive clock per track VL: exposure linear velocity P: track pitch j: the number of formatter drive clock (1, 2, 3, ...)) from exposure start. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
