PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To play back a group of favorite musical piece data automatically and continuously without complicated operation and consciousness by a user. SOLUTION: A musical piece playback device comprises: a storage device 20 storing the musical piece data 23; a biological information acquisition means 13 which detects and acquires bionic information of the user and stores them as attribute data of the musical piece data 23; a playback time information acquisition means 14 which acquires playback time information of a musical piece data chosen by operation keys 33 and stores the information as an attribute data of the musical piece data 23 played back immediately thereafter; a grouping means 16 which groups the musical piece data 23 of which the play-back time information 27 are near and the bionic information 26 are proximate to each other, and acquires a musical piece group; a musical piece choice control means 15 which makes a comparison between the bionic information acquired by the bionic information acquisition means 13 and that of any of the musical piece data in starting automatic musical piece selection, and chooses approximate ones; and a playback means 12 which sequentially plays back the musical piece data chosen.
