PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a program or data required for an operation by radio communications from a remote place in maintenance of a programmable controller and a control system using the programmable controller. SOLUTION: A radio module 13 of a signal converter 11 receives data transmitted through a radio module 27 connected to an operation terminal 22, the data structure of the received data is collated with a data structure transmittable to a programmable controller 18 of a connection destination to check whether they coincide, and only normal data is transmitted to the programmable controller 18 from a communication interface 12 through a communication cable 29.
