The invention relates to a process of determining simultaneities at a rail yard, wherein the rail yard may be represented as a directed graph comprising steps for: - by way of a first predetermined algorithm deter-mining a set of paths over the rail yard on the basis of data relating to the graph, - by way of a second predetermined algorithm determining a set of accessibilities on the basis of the set of paths; - by way of a predetermined third algorithm determining simultaneities on the basis of the set of accessibilities.
