PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire the termination state of every program execution unit, without modifying an application as a monitoring object. SOLUTION: A process generated by monitoring object applications 22, 23 and a process generated by a monitoring process 21 are reported to a process termination processing unit 11 in kernel space when each own process is terminated, and the process termination processing unit 11 notifies the monitoring process 21 of the occurrence of process termination. The monitoring process 21 collects information on each process to analyze a termination factor, and determines to which process notification is required according to a dependency relation between the analysis result and the process.
