A field top file with a connection groove and a compound foundation method using the same are provided to simplify a process of filling the inside of a top file with broken stones by forming a connection groove and a cable hole at an upper surface of the top file. A field top file with a connection groove includes a top part(10), a file body part(12), and a file front end part(14). The top part has a hollow shape. A file body part extends from a lower portion of the top file by a predetermined distance, and has a hollow shape. The file front end part extends from a lower end of the file body at a predetermined angle. A connection groove(16) is formed at a predetermined position of the top part to have a predetermined depth. A cable hole(18) is formed at a lower end of the connection groove of the top file, and has a predetermined diameter. An upper connection iron rod is installed in the connection groove in a form of a lattice. A lower connection iron rod is fixed and installed at the file body to penetrate the file body.
