Provided is a method for preparing a silica-polyaniline core-shell composite, which allows mass production of core-shell nanoparticles, enables production of core-shell composites having different thicknesses, and permits an ultrathin conductive coating on the surface of nanoparticles. The method for preparing a silica-polyaniline core-shell composite comprises the steps of: dispersing silica nanoparticles into an aqueous solution to perform surface modification of silica into an anionically charged surface; adding hydrochloric acid dropwise into an aqueous solution to provide HCl solution, and introducing aniline monomers thereto under agitation to form cationically charged anilinium ions; mixing the silica particles with the anilinium ions under agitation to allow the anilinium ions to be adsorbed on the silica surface through positive charge-negative charge electrostatic attraction; adding an oxidant dropwise to the mixed solution to perform polymerization of the anilinium ions adsorbed onto the silica surface under room temperature for several hours, and thus forming a polyaniline thin film on the silica surface; and separating and recovering the resultant core-shell nanoparticles through centrifugal separation.
