A solid railroad wheel contains a rim (1), a body of wheel (2) and a disk (3) formed by external (4) and internal (5) curved surfaces. For reduction of the value of total internal stresses the first external curve (R1) is made with a radius r1, which makes 0.145 - 0.16 of the diameter D of the taping line. The second external curve (R2) is made with a radius r2, which makes 0.245 - 0.26 of the diameter D of the taping line. Internal curve (R3) is made with a radius r3, which makes 0.264 - 0.285 of the diameter D of the taping line. First external transition section (R4) is made with a radius r4, which makes 0.065 -0.09 of the diameter D of the taping line. The second external transition section (R5) is made with a radius r5, which makes 0.035 - 0.06 of the diameter D of the taping line. The first internal transition section (R6) is made with a radius r6, which makes 0.05 - 0.06 of the diameter D of the taping line. The second internal transition section (R7) is made with a radius r7, which makes 0.145 - 0.165 of the diameter D of the taping line.
