The invention relates to building engineering. The inventive tower for overhead power transmission lines comprises a vertical pillar which is provided with cantilevers or cross beams mounted thereon and used for fixing cables and which is embodied in such a way that the lower part thereof is bifurcated in a direction perpendicular to a power transmission line axis, wherein each inclined pillar formed by said bifurcation is fixed to an individual basement. Said inclined pillars are rigidly connected to the lower end of the vertical pillar bellow a level where the lower cantilever or cross beam is fixed to the vertical pillar at a distance therefrom in such a way that a three-rayed star is formed. All pillars are arranged symmetrically or asymmetrically with respect to the power transmission line axis.
