<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for allowing partial expansion observation while carrying out entire observation. <P>SOLUTION: A partial image is selected by an operation means 7 from a medical image displayed by a display means 6. A magnification changing means 4 expands a pixel size of the selected partial image in vertical and horizontal directions, contracts the vertical direction of the pixel size of the other part of the medical image than the partial image, expands the horizontal direction of the pixel size by the same magnification as that of the partial image, and transmits them to the display means 6. Thus, while the whole of the medical image is displayed as an image of one picture on the display means 6, an image part of a region of interest is expanded and displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
