PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To push-in/out a tray without using any electric or electronic means for tray driving in a disk player for pushing a disk recording medium into a casing by a tray to execute recording or reproducing. SOLUTION: This device includes a winding spring 40 for generating an elastic restoring force of an eject direction with respect to a tray when the tray is supported on a chassis 11 to move, and the tray is pushed into a deepest part, a push-push type lock mechanism 50 for locking in a pushing position, and a detection switch 60 pushed to carry out a detection operation. Locking is provided by the push-push type lock mechanism 50, and the winding spring 40 charges energy for ejecting. By pushing in the tray more, the locking of the push-push lock mechanism 50 is released, and the tray is pushed out at least by a stroke to grip it by fingers by the winding spring 40.
