摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eccentricity measurement apparatus which is inexpensive and accurately measures eccentricity. SOLUTION: The eccentricity measurement apparatus 50 is typically provided with: a laser beam 51 with which each of reflecting faces 42a of a polygon mirror 42 of a scanner motor unit 81 is irradiated successively; and a V-slit 56 and a photodiode 57 which receive the reflected light L reflected on the reflecting faces 42a, and the apparatus 50 measures the eccentricity X of the reflecting faces 42a of the polygon mirror 42 with respect to the rotating center axis Op of the polygon mirror 42. The eccentricity measurement apparatus 50 is characterized in that the laser light L is reflected on the reflecting faces 42a in a subscanning cross section including the rotating center axis Op of the polygon mirror 42, and the reflected light L is received by the V-slit 56 and the photodiode 57.
