PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a low-radiation glass which has only a few method steps as far as possible and requires only a very little labor and cost less than that in methods described in the conventional technology. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a low-radiation cover glass accompanied with only a littleαintrinsic radiation for a radiation-sensitive sensor, specially for a radiation-sensitive sensor in semiconductor technology, without forming an intermediate shape but directly imparting the shape as a sheet glass, is provided.
