PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a high-speed Nup processing or the like with neither need for re-preparing divided data in a memory region with a size of a final image, and with nor need for processing divided data of the terminal in a printer or the like. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 is equipped with a band dividing part 3 which divides read-in image data to make them into a plurality of the divided data of band units, a development processing part 9 which develops the divided data into a video memory, and a data sweeping-out part 11 which successively sweeps the divided data in the video memory to a printer engine at a specified timing. The image forming apparatus 1 is characterized in that the band dividing part 3 makes a break of the read-in image data as a band boundary of the divided data of the terminal.
