A curable composition for producing a fluid permeable composite material comprising: a particulate material and a binding agent comprising: 25-40 % by weight of an acrylic polymer, 0.5-20 % by weight of 10-35 % by weight of a homopolymer of an isocyanate and corresponding isocyanate polymerising agent for forming a crosslinked polymer with said acrylic polymer, and 20-50 % by weight of n-butyl acetate. The composite material, having high breaking and flexural strengths, is suitable for use in making pavers, bricks, tiles and stormwater entry grates. |
