<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method of manufacturing an ignition coil in which the structure space or the diameter of an ignition coil housing is not increased by omitting a path necessary for charging insulating resin. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method of manufacturing an ignition coil 10, especially a stick-shaped ignition coil 11. In the method of arranging a magnetically effective core 14, a first coil body 17 comprising a first coil 18, and a second coil body 21 comprising a second coil 22 in an ignition coil housing 24 during assembly, filling an intermediate chamber among the core 14, the first coil body 17, and the second coil body 21 in the ignition coil housing 24 by injecting an insulating material 46, and charging the insulating material 46 which is liquid at first in the ignition coil housing 24 at least partly against gravity, the insulating material 46 is directly charged in the bottom region 47 of the ignition coil housing 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
