PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure and improve the reliability in an oil free screw compressor by standardizing the component parts on a compressor side and those of an electric motor side, and to makes the output of the electric motor without requiring a step-up gear and a suction throttle valve. SOLUTION: A compressor unit 1 and a high speed motor 21 are coupled directly through a drive side gear 19 and a driven side gear 18 of the equal velocity ratio. The same size bearing as a bearing 6, 13 of this compressor side is used for a bearing 29, 30 on the side of the high speed motor. A visco-seal 41, 42 provided in both ends of a motor shaft 25 uses the same one as the visco-seal 11 which is provided in both ends of a male rotor 2 and a female rotor 3. The high speed motor 21 is driven by a high-frequency invertor 20. The electric motor side and the compressor side are made to be the quasi-symmetrical rotor shaft structure, centering around the equal velocity gear. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
