PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fire grate which prevents biting of a foreign substance, and also to provide a stoker furnace. SOLUTION: This front fire grate 8 is provided with: a plate-like member 83; a first arm-like member 81 fixed to the plate-like member 83; a second arm-like member 82 fixed to the plate-like member 83; a first rib 85 arranged along the longitudinal direction of the first arm-like member 81 and fixed to the first arm-like member 81; and a second rib 86 arranged along the longitudinal direction of the second arm-like member 82 and fixed to the second arm-like member 82. In this case, the first arm-like member 81 and the second arm-like member 82 are faced with each other with a space to set the longitudinal directions of both of them in parallel to each other.
