<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing controller for a keyboard cover of a keyboard musical instrument that is reducible in manufacturing cost by decreasing the number of components and can smoothly open and close the keyboard cover while preventing noise from being generated and a fallboard back section from having play. <P>SOLUTION: The opening/closing controller 4 for the keyboard cover 1 of the keyboard musical instrument includes a rotary dumper 5 which has a rotatable shaft part 8 and is fitted to fallboard back section 3 to generate rotational resistance when the shaft part 8 rotates in a specified direction, an engagement part 11 provided to the keyboard cover 1, and an arm 6 which has one end coupled to the shaft part 8 in an unrotatable state and the other end coupled to the engagement part 11 in a rotatable state, engages one of the shaft part 8 and engagement part 11 in a slidable state, and damps the keyboard cover 1 by rotating while sliding on the shaft part 8 or engagement part 11 as the keyboard cover 1 rotates in a closing direction and then rotating the shaft part 8 in a prescribed direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
