<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves selecting a total length of a message to be displayed and visible length of the message to be displayed in a display zone. A repeated length of the message is selected, where the repeated length is the length displayed in a current page and copied out in a following page. The total number of pages is determined by using a specific equation so that the total length of the message is displayed with selected repeated lengths. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for page by page displaying of rolling message in a display zone (2) an aircraft comprising a display device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for page by page displaying of rolling message e.g. controller pilot datalink communication message, logbook message and automatic terminal information service message, in a display zone of a display device of a cockpit of an aircraft (claimed) for controlling air traffic, where the messages are exchanged between pilot and aircraft control center during take-off and landing phases. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method permits to manage display of messages on different types of display zones in a unique manner, so that the established display is deterministic, thus permitting page by page display of the rolling messages on different types of display zones of the display device of the cockpit, managing the display of messages irrespective of the total length of the message, length of the message to be displayed on a page and length of the message to be repeated, and avoiding wrong manipulation by a pilot.
