PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removing method and a dust removing machine, which have a high dust removing efficiency and by which a large amount of dust is disposed of. SOLUTION: In the dust removing method, the action of negative pressure using an air flow from an air inlet 2a to an air outlet 2b is used to suck outside dust and supply a liquid as a dust catching medium into the air flow, the air flow including the dust and the liquid is introduced into a dust catching portion 3 having a stirring flow and stirred and mixed so that the dust is caught by liquid particles, and the liquid is separated from the air flow and only the air is exhausted from the air outlet. In the dust removing machine, a dust removing mechanism portion 3 is provided with the air inlet 2a and the air outlet 2b for exhausting only the air, and the inside of the dust removing mechanism portion is provided with an air flow generating mechanism 21, a dust catching mechanism 22 for catching the dust by the liquid particles, and an air-liquid separating mechanism 23 for separating the liquid and exhausting only the air.
