PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve printing efficiency in a system for reusing paper whose one sides are printed. SOLUTION: The printing system shortens time spent until printing ends by making an image forming device identify whether printed papers are reuseable while the image forming device is in an idle condition. Since paper is ejected onto an ejection tray with the unprinted sides arranged in order after identification, the arrangement of the unprinted sides in order is not required. Equipment with a paper tray on which new paper is stocked and a paper tray on which reusable paper alone is stocked, even duplex printing and one side printing requires almost the same printing time as printing for conventional new papers alone.
