PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding machine capable of efficiently measuring a post, shortening a processing time, and improving processing efficiency. SOLUTION: This internal cylindrical grinding machine 1 has a cross slide 3 movable in an X-axis direction, a table 6 movable in a Z-axis direction on the cutting board 3, a headstock 7 fixed to the table 6 and capable of rotatably supporting a workpiece 8, a tilted wheel spindle stock 4 grinding the workpiece 8, an onboard loader device 5 with loader hands 13a, 13b capable of gripping the workpiece 8, and a measuring device 14 measuring a ground part of the workpiece 8. The measuring device 14 is set to measure the ground part of the ground workpiece 8, under a condition that the ground workpiece 8 is gripped by the loader hand 13b. In the measuring device 14, a measuring head with a gauge head is provided movably between a measuring position, and a retreated position not for hindering a turning action of the onboard loader device 5.
