<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extracorporeal circulation catheter which efficiently removes blood flowing into a coronary sinus from a coronary artery through a coronary vein to the outside of a body, shows the same operationality as catheters conventionally employed in PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention), and reduces the burden on a patient by reducing the number of devices employed for blood access. <P>SOLUTION: The extracorporeal circulation catheter, which has a distal end placed in the coronary sinus of a heart and a proximal end and returns blood to the inside of the body after removing the blood from the distal end outside the body, has a blood-removal lumen 006 extending from the distal end to the proximal end and a blood-return lumen 007 extending from the proximal end of the catheter to a point a prescribed length away on the distal end side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
