PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high output of a speaker having less distortion. SOLUTION: This speaker is provided with a frame 5; a magnetic circuit 1 supported by this frame 5; a voice coil 2 arranged movably to a magnetic gap 8 provided on the magnetic circuit 1; a diaphragm 3 having an external circumferential end connected to the frame 5 via a first edge 4, and an internal circumferential end directly or indirectly connected to the voice coil 2; and a suspension holder 10 provided on the magnetic circuit 1 side rather than this diaphragm 3, and having an external circumferential end connected to the frame 5 via a second edge 7 and an internal circumferential end directly or indirectly connected to the voice coil 2. The projection direction of the first edge 4 is made different from that of the second edge 7, and the magnetic circuit 1 has the movable space 1d of the voice coil 2 in depth side of the magnetic gap 8 to which the voice coil 2 moves.
