There is provided a maintenance information output device capable of outputting reducer maintenance information more appropriately than in the conventional way. A maintenance information output device (130) includes: an operation unit (131) operated by a user; a cable communication unit for receiving data on an iron amount via a mobile radio receiver (120) from an iron amount detection device mounted on a reducer (20) of an industrial robot (10) for detecting an iron amount contained in a lubricant in the reducer (20); a hard disc for storing the data on the iron amount received by the cable communication unit; a display (134) for outputting the maintenance information on the reducer (20); and a processing device having a CPU, a ROM, a RAM, and the like and controlling operations of the cable communication unit, the hard disc, and the display (134) in response to the operation of the operation unit (131). When the iron amount in the lubricant in the reducer (20) is equal to or above a threshold value, the processing device causes the display (134) to output the maintenance information.
