<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for a vehicle allowing easy positioning of a lid to an opening. <P>SOLUTION: Mounting a cover 20 at an airbag spreading opening 14 formed in a hood outer panel 12 generates overlapping of a slope 22C of an inclining part 22B of a mounting part 22 provided on the rear surface at the peripheral edge of the cover 20 with a supporting surface 16D of a supporting part 16B of a narrowed rack 16 formed at the peripheral edge of the airbag spreading opening 14 in the hood outer panel 12. Therein the slope 22C and the supporting surface 16D overlapping one over the other are inclined below behind the vehicle body in a position in front of the cover 20, ahead of the vehicle body in a position behind the cover 20, on the left of the vehicle body in a position on the right of the cover 20, and on the right of the vehicle body in a position on the left of the cover 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
