摘要

An electromagnetic wave absorber useful as one for GHz band that makes use of a loss material exhibiting high electromagnetic wave absorbing capacity, and that by addition of a small amount of the material, can exhibit electromagnetic wave absorbing capability without detriment to the matrix properties thereof, and that is formed from a composite of high moldability and low production cost. There is provided an electromagnetic wave absorber characterized in that a three-dimensional network carbon fiber structure composed of carbon fibers of 15 to 100 nm outer diameter, the carbon fiber structure in a mode in which multiple carbon fibers extend out having particulate parts binding the carbon fibers together, the particulate parts formed in the growing stage of the carbon fibers, is contained in its matrix in an amount of 0.01 to 25 mass% based on the whole.
