A bulb socket (4) includes a cylindrical socket body (401) having L-shaped bayonet grooves (410) formed in an outer peripheral surface thereof. A tubular socket-mounting portion (21), in which the bulb socket (4) can be mounted, is formed on a reflector (2), and bayonet projections (22) for engagement in the respective fitting grooves (410) are formed on and project radially inwardly from the socket-mounting portion (21). When the bulb socket (4) is attached to the reflector (2), the bayonet projections (22) are fitted in the bayonet grooves (410), respectively, and therefore the bayonet projections (22) are not exposed, and the development of dark portions around the bulb socket (4) is suppressed, so that the appearance of the lighting device is improved. Alternatively the bulb socket may have bayonet projections and the mounting portion may have bayonet grooves (figure 8, not shown). |
