The tube has an outer tubular profile (32) formed from a metal sheet, on which longitudinal edges are provided with flanges (33). An elongate reinforcing component (35) extends in the profile along a part of the length of the tubular profile. The flanges define an accommodation groove for accommodating a skate blade (34). The component is formed from a material, which is different from the metal of the tubular profile. The metal sheet is formed of a material such as steel and titanium and the component is formed of plastic such as carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic.
