PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsifier composition that shows good dispersibility and storage stability, when an aqueous epoxy resin composition is prepared, and can provide a curing agent composition for the epoxy resin excellent in cured product properties such as water resistance, to provide a curing agent composition for the epoxy resin by using the emulsifier composition and curable epoxy resin composition. SOLUTION: The emulsifier composition mainly comprises a compound obtained by reaction between the following (a) component and (b) component: (a) a polyamide obtained by reaction between (a1) at least one selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, their alkyl esters with (a2) aliphatic polyamine and (b) a reactive organic compound bearing groups reactive with amino, alkyl ester, or carboxy groups in the polyamide (a) and bearing one or more hydrophobic groups.
