PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugate fiber keeping inherent feeling and colorability to acrylic fiber, having new functions and processible with post processing such as spinning and knitting. SOLUTION: The method for producing acrylic fiber comprises forming, from acrylic component A and B each comprising specific functional substances, an A-B-A three-layer structure, and introducing the obtained to a spinning nozzle. By the method, if the component B, containing a substance exhibiting perfume function, is sandwiched between the A components, perfume persistency is superior than when contained in whole fiber.
