<p>The biocidal metal ions producing mechanism for preventing and/or killing vegetation on a roof, comprises thread element (12) made from a material producing the biocidal metal ions and firmly connected with one another by a strip element (14). The thread element intended in a number of rows, are arranged to each other in parallel and juxtaposed manner. The thread element form bristle bundles intended in the number of rows, and the bristle bundles are arranged to each other in parallel- and juxtaposed manner. The thread elements are formed in curved- and/or crimped manner. The strip element is intended in a middle area of the thread elements and runs perpendicular to the orientation of the thread elements. The thread elements are folded together into opposite directions or folded at the strip element around 180[deg]. The strip element is formed from a seam and adhesive-bead (20), which is provided with a reinforcement-soul, and exhibits two strips, between which the thread elements are fixed. The thread elements are equally long on both sides of the strip element. A base element is intended in a side of the roof and defines a spacer. The seam, the strips and the base element consist a material producing the biocidal metal ions. The base element exhibits a fixation section. Roof ridge clamping strips are overlaid upon the thread elements, exhibit a water reservoir gutter and are formed with a mechanism preventing the landing of birds on the roof. The material is combined with a chemical element, which accelerates the metal ion production. For the surface enlargement of the strips, the strips are folded together in z-shaped manner and/or formed in embossed manner. One of the strips is uniformly formed or folded together in its longitudinal axle center around 180[deg]. The thread elements are differently long on the opposite other side of the strip element in the rows intended one above the other. The length of the thread elements of the internal row is larger than the length of the thread elements of the outermost row. The base element is formed in curved- and/or embossed manner.</p> |
